Meet new people, gather heart-warming stories at the kettles: helping and having FUN!
This years’ kettle campaign is from November 14 to December 23, 2019. The goal is to raise $245,000. Volunteers were successful in reaching last year’s goal of $240,000 with over 1300 shifts covered.
Volunteering on the kettles is fun. Visit with passersby, thank them for donations and hand out candy canes! Meet new people, gather heart-warming stories at the kettles while helping and having FUN!
Are you looking for an efficient, effective and easy way to support others with dignity? Christmas Kettles is the answer! All services are provided without discrimination and with dignity to those in need.
Volunteers can participate in 2-hour shifts at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm in several locations. Shifts are Monday through Saturday. Bring a friend or family member to join you on the kettle. Shifts can be combined for 4 or 6 hours and breaks provided.
Students are welcome to volunteer. Get those community hours earned and a letter will be provided for the class. Youth under 16 with a parent are most welcome.
Adopt a kettle for the day. Gather a group of friends to cover a day of 4 shifts. A sign will be displayed acknowledging your group. This is a perfect community activity for corporations, community clubs, church groups, sports clubs, anyone!
